The Miller House and Garden
The Miller House is the headquarters of the Washington County Historical Society office and the Simms B. Jamieson Genealogical Library (lower level).
A tour of the house, an early nineteenth-century brick townhouse built in 1818 and 1825, offers visitors a glimpse into the life of a prominent Hagerstown family of the 1820s. Upon entry, guests are greeted with a spacious entry hall dominated by a breath-taking spiral staircase.
